Site Uploading Guide

1. After you have signed up for a new plan, you can start to upload your website.
2. You will need to download an FTP transfer client to transfer your files from your hard drive to our server.

   We recommend the use of a program called FlashFXP. This program is offered as a 30-day free trial and has a very reasonable one-time purchase price of $25 after the trial period. With this program, the transfer of your website to our server should be quick, easy and painless.

3. After obtaining the FlashFXP FTP client, you will be able to take files from your hard drive or an older server and put them onto your new account at ipDream.net. We recommend you read the FlashFXP guides on Creating a Site, Connecting to a Site, and Transferring Files.
4. Your FTP login information will be given to you inside your control panel interface. In the upper left, your FTP login is displayed. Your password is the same as your password for the control panel. Your FTP server is displayed by clicking on the domain name to which you wish to upload on the left side of the screen.
5. You will have to overwrite the index.html file that will already exist in your yourdomain.com folder. This is easily done when using FlashFXP.
